Hodges Racing opened its doors in 1978, in Missouri by Ken Hodges and His cousins.  The team ran Though out the Midwest winning races at most dirt tracks they raced. They raced for championships at tracks in Missouri, Kansas, and Illinois. With many wins and good finishes a championship still eluded them.  Due to finances the team temporarily shut the doors.

  When Kens son turned 16 the doors opened back up. Racing a turn-key car we bought was junk and we could not afford to rebuild the car. They ran some races in southwest Missouri with little success.

   In 2008 Ken loaded up the family and moved to NC. So his son Kenny could chase his dream of working in NASCAR and attended NTI that fall. They continued to race across North Carolina driving a 1976 Ford Gran Torino which they built themselves. While Kenny was in school they ran as many nights as the could but due to a bad crash the car had to be completely rebuilt.

   They slowly rebuilt the car and Motor that’s pushing 500H.P. and have run a couple races when they could afford to. This year they plan to run Lancaster speedway when they can and run a full season running for the championship in 2016 and beyond.

  They are planning to build the late model chassis they have sitting in the garage if the money is available. The plan is to have ken and Kenny running both the late model and a super stock in 2018 or earlier.
